Kathara
Kathara Sasikumar is a Debian Outreachy intern and a strong supporter of free software. In her role as the leader of the Free and Open Source Software Cell at her college, Kathara leads initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration and driving innovation within the student community. Her leadership has been instrumental in cultivating a vibrant culture of open-source development on campus. Through her active involvement in organizing and participating in such events, Kathara consistently advocates for the values of transparency, collaboration, and accessibility that underpin the open-source movement. During her tenure as a Debian intern, she demonstrated her technical prowess by making significant enhancements to system functionality and playing a pivotal role in facilitating the migration of the Debian Wiki to a more efficient platform.

The presentation that I am going to give will delve into my journey from attending DebConf to securing an internship with Debian Outreachy. It is a story of personal and professional growth.
