What's new in eBPF and how you could use it today
I have presented my work on eBPF and XDP some 4 years back. Lot of time has passed and eBPF landscape has undergone rapid development. There are so many more use case then what was previously known.
In this talk I will dwell depper into some of the interesting changes in eBPF and how you could make use of eBPF.
- Introduction
- what’s eBPF and how does it work?
- eBPF verifier
- use cases.
- BPF CORE
- writing an eBPF program in Go
- a live demo, if time permits
- Q&A
This will be an introductory session but would require a little bit knowledge on kernel but I will grossly simplify certain things to simplify concepts. In the end of the talk, the attendees will have an in-depth understanding of eBPF and how to make use of it.
