Youngbin is a community organizer usually involved with Ubuntu community. His focus in Ubuntu community is to embrace local communities and enable them to collaborate across the region especially in Asian region. For that, he's been involved with Ubuntu Korea Community(Korean LoCo) for long time to organize local meetups and conferences for connecting like minded people in-person. UbuCon Asia Committee to connect Ubuntu users and contributors across Asia and Ubuntu LoCo Council to help other Ubuntu local communities to get active again and enable them to collaborate together.
Youngbin is also part of DebConf24 local team with most contribution on visa team lead. Helping participants who need visa to visit Korea apply and get approved for visa.
Professionally, Youngbin is a talented Software Engineer at AhnLab CloudMate Inc. a Cloud MSP company based in Seoul. His work focuses on the development of web products for both internal use and client companies, including projects like an integrated cloud billing portal, SalesOps, and more.

We’ll discuss about overall visa assist process of Visa team, Some insights on Korean visas for conference attendees as well as some tricky cases we have encountered this year.
If possible, we’ll also discuss and compare visa process with previous DebConfs.
